B&T Composites proudly participated in the European Defence Venture Studio expert panel during DEFEA 2025, contributing to a high-level discussion on “Unlocking Defence Innovation.”
The session explored the role of SMEs in advancing European defence technologies and addressing key challenges within the defence innovation ecosystem. Drawing on its expertise in advanced composite materials and high-performance applications, B&T Composites shared insights into how material innovation and engineering-driven approaches can support the development of next-generation defence solutions, while emphasizing the value of cross-sector collaboration in accelerating technological progress.
The panel was moderated by Antonios Platias, Managing Director of THYREON, and brought together experts from EU institutions, industry, and the military. A central theme that emerged from the discussion was the importance of speed through collaboration in translating innovation into operational capability.
