Carbon Engineering for the Open Sea
High-performance composite structures built for the most demanding environments on earth.
From superyacht decks to offshore platforms, designed to outperform steel and aluminum in every condition.
Built to last.
Why Carbon Composite over Metal
Up to 60%
Weight Reduction
Carbon fiber structures weigh a fraction of equivalent steel or aluminum components, directly improving vessel performance, stability, and fuel efficiency.
Zero
Corrosion Resistance
No rust. No galvanic corrosion. Our composites are chemically inert in saltwater, UV-resistant, and require zero surface treatment to maintain structural integrity.
Custom
Engineered per Vessel
Every component is designed from scratch — geometry, laminate schedule, insert placement — to match the exact loads, aesthetics, and installation constraints of your vessel.
Proven
Superyacht & Offshore Validated
Our systems are operational on superyachts and offshore platforms, qualified through in-house testing, balancing, and structural validation before delivery.
Built End-to-End in Florina
Every marine component is engineered, manufactured, and validated in-house at our Florina facility. No outsourcing. Full traceability from design to delivery.

CASE STUDY: SUPERYACHT SUN AWNING SYSTEM — 32M VESSEL
Project type: On-deck structural redesign. Application: Sun awning & lifting system. Vessel: 32m superyacht
Challenge
The existing aluminium sun awning system suffered from deployment failures in high wind conditions due to excessive weight and structural flex. The owner required a redesign that maintained the original dimensions and titanium end-fittings while eliminating the root cause of failure.

Solution
B&T Composites replaced the aluminium structure with a filament-wound carbon fibre system, integrating the original titanium interfaces directly into the laminate schedule. The result was a 45% weight reduction and zero deployment failures under high-wind test conditions. Full in-house machining, balancing, and load testing were completed in our plant prior to installation.
